Small tube coming from front of valve cover

I just noticed that the small hose that connects the air filter box to the front of the valve cover is cracked and will need to be replaced on my 2001 xj. The crack is in the 6 inch flexible rubber hose that connects the air filter with the hose coming from valve cover. Does anyone know the part number of this hose or is there a different type of hose that I can use that is the same diameter?

take your tube to your local auto parts store and ask them for it, they have that kind of tubbing in stock at most auto part stores.

if not use a peice of garden hose and so hose clamps

Be careful, some hoses will kink when they get warm.
