Surge tank replacment

Do I need to be worried about getting air in the system when I replace the surge tank on my '88?

I have read about burping the air when flushing out the system, but I don't think air will be an issue if all I do is change the tank, right?

should be fine, just keep lines up high. the one on the bottom of the tank is a PITA, oh wait that's because I used 5/8 hose on 3/4 fitting.

According to 5-90 drilling acouple holes into t-stat(12:00,6:00) will fix your belching problem.
