YJ steering setup

Was wondering if anyone has used it and is it worth my time? I have a ZJ v-8 tie rod now and it seems to be the same size as the YJ. I don't know much about the different steering setups and didn't know if it is much better with the tierod going knuckle to knuckle. I noticed the JCR steering is setup like this except beefier. I already have a YJ tie rod and a local guy has the parts to make a drag link or I can look for one at the local slavage yard. If it's not worth my time I wont bother. I just figured I'd check it out and use it till I can get the front axle swap done within the next year (money is tight for me). I also thought about calling JB4x4 and figuring out if their draglink bracket for YJ's could work on the XJ.
