I have 6.5" lift with Long Arms on my '88 Comanche, can I run the stock front driveshaft length without any problems?

my '88 mj has a 5.5 inch lift and i run the stock front driveshaft with no problems. 6.5 should be no problem.

Allow me to rephrase that.
Hold it up to see if it fits and still has some extension left, it should. It wont need much slip, the longarms are attached at nearly the same point and they dont' grow.

The axle is so much further away from the TC, I thought with the MEGA droop I have, maybe the front DS would need to be made longer by an inch or so.

ONE MORE QUESTION:
Sould I run a stock "Double Cardan" CV shaft OR
should I run a straight shaft with just two universals (Like the rear shaft ??)
I've been told the CVs don't hold up.

What the 1988 front DS length running length center to center for a 4.0 Auto?
Anybody know off the top of their heads? I'm thinking around 33-34"... ???? Not sure.
