I have a xj 2000 and i would like to know what's the heigt of the truck. Where do i measure to know if the sprig and leaf have lost its regidity.

if you still have stock fender flares, you can measure from the center cap of your wheel to the bottom edge of the fender flare.

IIRC (If I Remember Correctly), its 17.5 inches for the front, and 17 inches for the rear

Yup, 17.5" from hub-center to the bottom of the front flare. 17.0" from hub-center to bottom of rear flare. This is true for 2wd and 4wd models, but the Up-Country package will add another inch (2.54cm) to the measurements.

Note - that is Up-Country package...not 'Country' edition trim level.
