Straker start-up help.

Hello all,

Over the long weekend, we completed a major step in a Cherokee project. We got a 4.6 Golen engine installed in a '90 model. We ran short of time and decided not to risk a late night start-up, while we were all tired and likely to miss something.

The upgardes are as follows
1. Golen 4.6 stroker
2. Motorcraft 24# injectors
3. Borla header
4. Hesco adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

My question is, does anyone have any advice before startup?

Are there any tips or trick that you can offer on the running of a stroker (i.e. the fuel pressure regulator)?

Any advice is welcome
Any experience is trully appreciated.

Spin the oil pump with a drill thru the distributor hole, get the oil out and about before you fire it up...
