trimming the front shock mounts for more flex

hey guys ive been searching for hours now and maybe im using the wrong words, but im trying to find a write up on trimming the front shock mounts so that the control arm has more flex. i wanted to see if anyone had any pics of how much to cut off because i do not have the money for drop brackets or longarms right now, and i have heard that the trimming does not sacrifice shock strength soo, if some one could show me the way a MOD can delete this thread if they like
