just purchased a lo mileage used transmission to replace my noisy one, I can get a reman clutch for 89 dollars or a new one for 278. bad idea to go with remanufactured??
93 cherokee sprt

Yes, bad idea mainly because of the work involved in it if it goes. When I had my 4.0 engine replaced with a jasper in my 98 they put a new centerforce in there, I don't like it, I preferred the factory one, the centerforce is too quick and I chirp tires and throw gravel there's like no starting to grab, it just is either IN or OUT, feathering it is tough and if I switch between my TJ and the XJ it takes me a few to get used to the XJ again.

my 98 xj has 155,000 miles on the stock clutch and i have bet this thing to death when it goes out i will try to get a factory repacement
