So the other day I started up the ol' XJ and the check engine light was on. I took it to Autozone today and my buddy plugged it in on the code reader and said it was throwing out code #455 which is Evap System Leak (Large)
He said usually its somehting wrong with the gas cap but mine was tight and there was no rust or holes in the area. The lines all look okay and theres no sign of fuel leaking any where. I thought over the past week I was smelling a little bit of fumes but I chalked it up to be the tiny exhaust leak in my downpipe stinking. What should I be looking for and could a exhaust leak or 02 sensor cause this?
