Two quick questions

Will a starter from a 94 cherokee with a manual tranny work in a 96 cherokee with the aw4? Any differences between the starters because of manual vs auto tranny?
Will an alternator from a 97 Wrangler 4.0 work in a 96 cherokee?

Not trying to be rude,but by the time this gets a correct answer on the forum, you couldve went to one of hundreds of websites that sell Jeep STarters and cross referenced the 2 part numbers yourself.

And, as for your answer, I'm pretty positive they will be different.

But, couldnt be definitive without hitting Napa, AZ, DAP, 4WP, CAP, a few of the many sites...

These parts are interchangeable. The only diff. could be that maybe one alt. is 75 amp. and the other is 90 amp. Physically they are the same.
