Has anyone used the pro comp rear leafs that summit racing sells?
They are priced at about 85.00 each. I know everyone calls them pro crap
but someone else has to be making their leafs.
What do you think?

(I know this question is going to get alot of bashing because pf the p-word, but damn their cheap!!!!):passgas:

These are the questions I would ask. How many leaves do they have? What's the spring rate? What kind of bushings do they have? How much lift?

I've heard they're stiff but have no personal experience.

My first YJ lift kit (leafs) was a ProComp kit.
It was the biggest mistake I have made on mods.
I too went cheap...I eventually replaced the springs and went with RE.
I love them. (My XJ is RE as well)
I would have saved money in te long run by spending a little more and buying quality, not cheapest.

The PC kit did go on easy and it was complete. But any quality kit should be.
It was like riding on a buckboard.
The only way I could have gotten a stiffer ride would have been to weld the axles to the frame.

My $0.02

with most things in life you get what you pay for

having said that, i have no idea how they perform but use common sense
so what your saying is that a 200,000 ferrari would be a better more reliable/over all better car than a honda accord because of price?
