bronco axle

A buddy is trying to sell me his rear axle out of a '95 bronco. I'm not too familiar with those, but he said it's a ford 8.8. I assume that it has a wider WMS. Anyone have experience with those? He'd sell it to me for $75. Is it worth it?

You don't want fullsize axles out here in the PNW.

Aside from that, it's a great axle to run, but too wide for an XJ.

Yep full size. Now if it was a 9in out of a 66-77 diffrent story.

It is too wide, and all full sized Broncos had drum brakes. Start looking for later model Exploders.

Thanks for your help guys. I wasn't planning on upgrading my rear end at this time anyway... just came accross an amazing deal so I had to check it out. oh well :looney: .
