clutch problems

i have a 93 5-speed and i was trying shifting from first to second but when i went to go push in the clutch it didn't go down at all. it felt like it was stuck on something so i pulled over into a parking lot and started messing with the pedal and it went down and came up normally. when it went back down the clutch worked fine came up normal for a few shifts then did it again but now it doesnt get stuck up anymore but the clutch pedal only comes up about 2 inches (i can still drive it, the clutch still engages and disengages normal) but doesnt come up all the way like it should. im thinking it mite just be a spring that got stuck then came off like the one at the top of the clutch pedal or the vavle spring. does anyone have a 5-speed that this happened to and knows how to fix it

maybe i shoudl try to bleed the clutch?

How is the fluid level?

If the level is OK, it could be the master or slave.

You could try a bleed, it could not hurt.

the fluid never dropped but yeah in the morning im just gonna try to bleed it and hope it works i have no money at all =(

Had the internal spring in the clutch master break once. It froze the pedal, and was intermittant
