I hate Sunday nights...help!

So I was trying to figure out why the heep keeps idling so high when I start it up hot and why it stutters worse than I do once it is warmed up and I was backing into the driveway. She shuddered once or twice like it was bogging out, then stopped before I could hit the clutch. Now it won't start at all. Any suggestions? 86, 2.5L (183,000+), AX-5...Can't think of anything else relevant. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Oh, yeah, does anyone know where the fast idle relay goes?
