What is the best/ most bang for my buck cold air intake to put in my 97 Cherokee XJ Sport.
(got to put a second battery in my car, cant use cargo space cause im putting a sub box back there that takes up the whole cargo area)

dont want to do a snorkel if i dont have to.

ya its a huge box. i got 3cu ft per sub and i got 2 of them.
Grand total of 6cu ft sub box w/ a 1300 watt amp.
Subs= 2 12" kicker CVX
Amp= kicker 1250 watt amp
(second battery is mostly for my subs/ and later for the winch, lights, etc.)
 
Theres a intake/dual batt. setup in the Quadratec catalog. 165$. i cant imagine theres a big power difference in any of the intake tube/filter setups. Unless you were set on a snorkle.
 
Put two smaller oddesy batteries where the OEM one is. Leave the stock intake alone..
 
The stock intake is fine. Just get a saw and make the hole bigger and remove the silencer in the top part.

This gives a couple horsepower gain, but the trade off is more noise. But honestly its not a bad noise.
