WJ steering conversion wheel fitment?

I've been thinking alot about the WJ steering conversion, and just thought about something. i don't remember anybody mentioning anything about fitment problems with 15" wheels and the bigger WJ calipers.

i'm currently running 15" 3.75"BS. I'm sure the caliper can be shaved a bit, but do they fit, and is there a problem with the tie rod ends hitting the rim if i use the WJ knuckles???

It depends on the wheels. Some people have fitment issues, others just clear. Steel wheels seem to do better than aluminium. You'll have to grind the calipers, and run the old style. If you dont go over the arm steering, it might work out better .. but then why bother doing it?

You can see how close my TRE is to the wheel here. 16x8 with 4.5" backspacing.
