What does it take to convert a 92 commanche with a 5 sp trans to 4 wd. I can guess a front axle (I have a 30) and a transfer case...what kind of fab work is required?

Not sure what happened to my long winded response. Short version; AFAIK it's a straight bolt in.

Pretty much bolt in if you have a donor to rip all the miscellaneous parts from. Or plan on multiple trips to the local salvage yard. The xfer case shifter and the bracket on the body are bolt in as-well, but you'll have to pull the carpet up to get at the bolts. Note that the xfer case bracket on the body and linkage is different between an auto and manual (long rod on the auto is 3" longer and the hole in the bracket 2" further forward).
