transmission cooling line leaking on 89 xj

so i have found a pretty serious transmission leak on my 89XJ from what i think is the one of the transmission colling lines..its the line that goes back the farthest and is a bit lower on the transmission

what can i do about this and how complicated is it?

i was thinking it could be a good time to also change the filter and fluid while down there??

Check the hardlines where they are strapped to the block. Sometimes those clamps wear through the line. If that's the case, cut and splice the line back together with some flexible line.

Double clamp it - this is a fluid you can't risk losing accidentally.......and there's no real warning without a trans temp gauge until serious damage is already done.
