I have a problem with my torque converter right now. Whenever i am torquing up a hill it to to disengage then reengage with a clunk. It doesnt happen as much if i choose the gear, in 3rd or 2nd. I am going to pick in a tiptronic shifter, i am not sure if i am going to wire in my own or buy one. Would it be possible to totally remove thew need for the torque converter?
