D44 nuts

I posted in mod since it is for a waggy44 -- what size/pitch are the nuts that hold the spindle and brake caliper to the knuckle, and can I buy them at a hardware store or are they an auto store type thing..??

I can't remember the size, but they are FINE thread. I bought mine at Home Depot.
