i have a 2000 and i am installing a lift. the axle side of the swaybar links, it has a torx bolt. does the bolt come out, or can i install the discos right over it?

the bottom bolt is pressed in. you need to heat it up and pound it out, or use a 2jaw puller to press it out. or you can drill it out.

ok thanks. going to autozone to rent a puller right now.

Or if you're not reusing the bolt, just grind the head off, then re-install your endlink and tighten the nut until the bolt pops loose. I did this when I swapped a 94 D30 into my 90.
