'86 tbi, cracked manifold.
So, what do you recommend?

Clifford looks good to me = $339.00

Banks also looks good = $385.00

Both are pretty spendy for a 4 cyl.

Pacesetter is the only other one I've found.
APN doens't appear to have one, besides a cast iron unit.

I'll be redoing the entire exhaust system while I'm at it. I've searched and found very little for the 2.5l.

I researched this a while back when I was interested in getting some headers for my 86 2.5L TBI. What I found was that Clifford was the only company that made a header for the 2.5L with the EGR set up on it which you will need for the 86. Basically Clifford is you only real choice. Borla makes one for the Wrangler with this same set up the old 87-?? Wranglers with the 2.5L TBI but I am not positive if it will clear. I called them and asked and they gave me the "it will work for the specified application, we don't know if it will fit the Cherokee." It too is also expensive. So what I decided on was the Clifford, if I had a cracked exhaust manifold I would buy it but since mine is still good and I am in college I have no money to spare on replacing things on my XJ that are not broken.

My EGR is gone, and will remain gone. However I do want to maintain an 02 sensor, probably have to in order for it to run properly.

I ran the Clifford and loved it.
