Shock Sizes???

I want to upgrade my shocks in the near future. I've seen quite a few individuals selling various companies on the for sale forum. My question is how do I know what size will fit on a 97' XJ w/ re 6" lift????

yes it does. with 6" of lift, the standard is 10-12" up front and 8-10" for the rear. The best way to know for sure is measure while flexing.

It also depends on how you are bumpstoped. I run 12" bilstien 7100 shorbody's up front - which are the length of a 10" shock compressed, and still had to bumpstop more than I planned on to fit them.
