I thought I just needed coax cable, but then I see atleast two different types of connectors to mount the antenna to the Jeep mount. So what do I use?

I saw a "stud lug" and just "lug" connector, which do I need? Or whats the difference? Or other choices?

lug:

studt:

Also is this the right coax cable to use?

Where are you planning on putting it? Unless your planing on putting it on a nice solid steel bumper, or other thick surface they'll just pull out. If you go to Fire Sticks web page they have several types of mounts shown.

How will a "Firering" coax cable pull out? I mean its a circle, lol. I got a custom mount thats mounted by my tail light.

I just need to kno what type coax cable and connector?

That should be fine. What I was talking about was if you where to just drill a hole in the roof, or other thin sheet metal, and use that tybe of mount it would pull out the first time you smacked it on something. The tail light bracket is fine, and will work nice. I suggest putting it on the driverside to make it easier to see if you wheel your jeep.
