How do I get the wiper arms off my 1994 Jeep Cherokee?

Something has gone wrong with my wipers. They seem to be jammed or something so I want to open her up and see what I can do before having to deal with a repair shop. So, how do I remove that clip that holds on the wiper arms? Anyone know?

The clip needs to pop up and away from the pivot arm. Use a pair of needle-nose pliers and pull slightly. It can help to lift and wiggle the arms a little while doing that. Once the clip has popped up, the arm lifts off.
