advance adapters make a sye for the 207. its the same as the 231 except for one extra peice

The real early 207 came with a fixed rear output from the factory. try looking under the 84-85 XJs'.

i have an 85 that came with a 207 i only ever found hack and taps for it. i think tom woods and rubicon express made them. i heard the rubicon one was better. i swapped mine out for a 231. i had to make a spacer for the seal to work with mine tho cause i have a 4 spd

get a 207 from a s-10 and use the internals as they are stronger...wider chain,etc. one of the sye's out their will work with the 207 with the addition of one little spacer for a bearing. try advance adapters.
