I have a modified d30 with a damaged stock pinion yoke. 87 non disconnect high pinion. What options do I have for an upgrade (if there is a need?) and do I have to reset the ring and pinion just to change the yoke?

Where is the best place to get a replacement?

I did try searching and couldn't find what I needed. :tears:

Thanks for your help.

any from a junk d30 or d44= same yoke

older style with u-bolt connectors would be an upgrade IMO

any cj d30, waggy d44, chevy or ford w/ d44 will work..

not sure about the TTB d44 f-150 80-86 but older ones will be the same but the d-s ujoints may be different on the fords and chevys (search that aspect)

mine came off full size jeep wagoneers same u-joints

Ok I got a yoke coming with U bolts. Any tips on installing this? Or is it pretty much out with the old in with the new?

Thanks

Rick

Nothing special....a D-30 uses shims for preload instead of a crush sleeve...use locktite on the threads and crank 'er down tight....
