Anyone know if a key blank for a 95xj will work for a 92xj. I need to copy my key and I have a spare blank from my 95 that has the plastic cover and jeep logo on it that I want to use.

Check the keyways (the slots down the length of the blank.) They used the same basic blank for a number of years, but the did change the keyways slightly a few times.
If both of them are "aftermarket" keys, you should also be able to find a single letter stamped in the blank near the head - if those letters are the same, they should be the very same key blank.
