I just replaced my fuel pump and had to work a little to get it in. It was a master from partsamerica.com and I had a little trouble making it fit. Anybody else have this problem?

So I read that the float is very sensitive but didn't listen and now my gas gauge doesn't work.

I wanted to know if in your experience the floats are really that sensitive or if it could be a different problem?

Thanks for any help. Chris

I replaced my fuel Pump, took some work getting in there, i had to cut the rubber to make it fit the pump, because it was fatter. After doing so, my gas guage's new empy line was a quarter tank, and just recently, its now at around half tank. I don't know what I did, but I just know about the milage I get and I fill it up.
