I’m running a set of Rusty’s fixed lower control arms in my XJ. The metal housing of the bushings are loose in the control arms. It rides good and there is no excessive play, but the control arms slide back and forth on the bushings.
Has anyone run into this? I’m thinking about drilling and taping a set screw in the bottom of the control arms through the controls arm and metal bushing. They could also be tack welded I guess. Might be time to buy a welder?
