ZJ Rear springs for Lift

There are lots of threads about using the ZJ springs for front lifts with little to some difference in height. I have seen discussion of springs from V8, both 5.2 and 5.9, and upcountry packages, but no discussion of using the rear springs.
The GC guys use the rears for the front and then "just" replace the rears.
Any one want to clarify?

From what I understand You use the front GC springs in the rear for about 3" lift in the back. If that is true you would lower the front of your xj about two inches.

Sorry, What I am asking is what height do you get if you use the rear GC springs on the front of the XJ.

the rear spring is softer and designed differently than the front spring

the front is designed with the engine there and the rear is designed to maintain under different cargo loads plus if you really wanted to know your best place to ask would be on a grand cherokee forum, most xj guys dont have acess to information on ZJ's

Should have checked. Thanks. I think now that they use the front springs for the back a chuck the rear ones. Some one delete this thread!
