Hi. Just dropped the oil pan to replace the rear seal (94 XJ) and noticed there are two stripping bolt holes. Anybody got any quick fixes for that aside from heli coils?

I think that's pretty common. Mine had one that was stripped and I didn't notice it until after the pan was back on and I was installing the bolts. Luckily, I was generous with the RTV and it sealed. I don't know if I'd mess with a helicoil. Why not just tap them to the next size while it's all apart?
