Installed a T-N-T Long Arm upgrade...got ???

hey just installed an upgrade long arm to my XJ. haven trouble figuren out where to be the angle finder to read the camber/caster(not sure which is which). i know it needs to be around 6.5*. is there away to read without removeing the diff cover? would be helpful to know. thanxs

Caster is found by putting an angle finder where the ball joint is mounted.

I think your looking for pinion angle. Use the bolt heads (assuming they are the same) that hold the cover on.
 
Use this for an HP30:

9 minus differential cover angle equals caster

For an LP30 (low pinion):

12 minus differential cover angle equals caster

There you have it. Place your angle finder on the differential cover. Take that and subtract it from 9. Whatever is left is caster. ;)
