I just started using my AC today, and I noticed that when I accelerated my air would partially be blowing through the defrost vent. When I am cruising, there's no problem with the vents working correctly. This seems like a vacuum leak, which according to my local ASE certified shop, there is no leak.
I also have a slight miss at idle... and right above idle, when I press the gas a little as possible. The miss is an occasional bump, that can be felt. I cannot notice any miss when driving.
I did replace a bad section of vacuum hose [beside the battery] with a smaller hose that fit tightly inside the hose, maybe that's a problem. I'm thinking it's a vacuum problem. I will be going through vacuum system tomorrow. Could this be a PCV problem?
