here the situation ;

i have a c 8.25 with gears and a lockright in it .
when driving mainly when cornering but occasionally when going straight it make a loud KER-POW noise mutable times . I'm talking really loud and it physically move the jeep to the side .this is not normal in any way ! i have herd the ratching noise that it is suppose to make . it dose how ever work perfectly fine in reverse .the housing has ben checked and is tought to be straight !I'm going to pull the cove and check the locker out ,i guess that the pin may be worn and the teeth could be bad on the locker causing it to unload .So is there any thin else that i should check ? i thought about getting some marking compound and checking the pattern. your help would be greatly apprieciated .

I would check the pins and springs in the lockrite.
