Door problem

ok Sooo I've messed both of my doors up not so much the passangers, I was lifting the door up and tightening the screws and closed it and the yellow pice that keeps the door closed is wedged.. I posted a pix PLZ help jeep looks funny with open doors :(

That used to happen to my dads old blazer a lot for some reason, you should be able to get a screw driver in there and pull it back out while you press the button on the handle to get it back to where it normally is when the door is open.
 
i second what nrl06 said my chevy van did the same thing pry on the latch while pushing on the button i think apply the prying first than push the latch button or use the inside release to get it back to it normal position
