Millermatic 210 vs. 251

What is the real difference between the two other then the fact that the mm251 can weld 1/8" thicker metal? Will i get cleaner, nicer welds with the mm251? I don't plan on welding more then 1/4" and the mm210 can do 3/8". Is there any reason to go with the mm251?

The 251 probably has a higher duty cycle. If you are buying this for garage use or light commertial duty, then the 210 will be fine. I use a 210 at school, and also at work, never had a problem with the machines.

I think the major difference is that the 251 has two gun receptacles so you can hook up a normal gun and a spoolgun. Makes going between the two easy. I think the 210 just has one gun receptacle.
So if you plan on frequently doing aluminum, go with the 251.
