removale doors

cut the lower part of the hinges off so the doors can be easily removed and installed. youll have the drive the pin out and reinsert from the top on the passenger side. the wires can be unplugged. im sure there are many threads or write ups floating around here.

Brian has an excellent write up on how to do this. It's fairly easy to do...just follow his instructions. He has great pics to go along with it.

If you take the doors off, it'll fold like a taco!

Somebody had to say it.....

I really like this mod, only one question. Is it Illegal to drive on the street with no doors?

I'd do this in the summer all the time if it was Legal. I only have 2 front seats the rest of my interior is Stripped.

All depends on the state you don't need doors in Texas. and all they require for a window is a place for the registration and inspection.

Sounds like it's up to interpretation like every other vehicle law in this country. The question is whether or not being doorless constitutes a violation of the OEM's original intent i.e. wrangler doors are designed to be removable, but cherokee doors aren't.
