maybe a dumb question but I assume that the a/c condenser doesnt use coolant fluid right? I have a really bad coolant leak in the radiator and am replacing it immmediatly and want to make sure that I dont need a new condenser. THe fluid leak is the bright green anti freeze I assume the condenser runs refrigerant through it right? thanks!

No the condenser runs freon (a gas), not antifreeze/coolant. Hope that helps.

ultraviolet dye (bright green) may have been added to your a/c system at one point to check for leaks. if your seeing this by your condenser you probably have a leak there. antifreeze will wash off with water, the dye mixes with the oil from the a/c system and will be alot harder to wash off. Hope this helps.
