Timing chain tensioner

I have a 92 with a 4.0 and was wondering if it has a timing chain tensioner and if it will make a "heat riser" type noise when it gets worn??????
I've been chasing that type of noise for a long time but so far I haven't been able to pin point it.------Thanks, Rick

Same timing set, but the 4.0L doesn't use a tensioner like the 2.5L does.
