Coolant Leak Question

Besides a freeze plug, where would coolant leak from above the transmission? It is running down and dripping right off the oil pan at the rate of a quarter sized puddle over 48 hours. I just replaced the freeze plug on the back of the head (checked it...not leaking) and am seriously hoping it is not the one between the engine and tranny.

You could have a leak from the water pump. As you're driving, the coolant will tend to run backwards along the oil pan and drip at the back.
