Hey i was wondering if you can fit 12.50 wide tires on a 8" wide rim

They will fit, but sidewalls may bulge a bit. I believe manufacturers recomend at least a 8.5" rim for proper performance

Search, you will find a lot of info on this. You are going to see a lot of guys running this combo and some think it is too wide for that size.

Yes they will fit, depending on the tire maker, some bulg more then others. I have been running 33x12.50's on 15x8 rims for about 8 years. I have ran all across the US with that set up and had no problems.
