any suggestions

hey everybody, i am gonna start my locker install tonight and was wondering if there was anything i should pay close attention to or anything i should expect. i am putting a lockright in my 94's 8.25. hopefully it wont take too long!

your gonna want to make sure to torque the carrier bearing caps back to spec. so have a torque wrench handy.


watch for these little washers that are inside the open carrier around the spider gears called thrust washers. I dont know if the 8.25 has em, but if you dont reinstall them with the lockrite in there its will not unlock......and well it could cause some carnage like mine did.

get some locktite for those ring gear bolts, and torque those to spec as well.

its a breeze to install, low priced and huge effect i love lockrites!
