242 to 231

i just put a 21 spline 231 in my 89 xj. the 231 is out of a yj. will the front yoke off the 242 fit the 231. the 231 was single cardin and the 242 was double cardin i want to keep the double.

If nobody gives you an answer take the two yokes off and try to swap them. It would be pretty easy if you or a friend have a good impact wrench.

If I knew the answer I would give it, however I do not...
