You can't replace just the bearings. you must buy the whole hub assembly. If you still have the original one on, it might be a pain in the butt to get off, but they aren't too hard to do.

Jack up the wheel and push/pull at 9:00 oclock and 3:00. Repeat at 12:00 and 6:00. If there is no wobbling, the problem is not your bearings. If you do get wobbling, then crawl under the vehicle and have a friend jiggle the wheel again. Look at your bearing hub for movement ... look also at your ball joints; they might be worn, causing the 12/6 play. If you are getting play at 3/9, but not at 12/6, you should check your tie rod ends.

Here are some good links with directions for replacing the hub/bearing assembly:

http://www.madxj.com/MADXJ/technical/technicalfiles/ARD30shafts297andSeals/D30shafts297andSeals.htm

The last link above is to an article on upgrading axle shafts, but it also covers bearing hub replacement, since you have to remove the hubs to get the shafts out.

Here is an ebay guy who sells XJ Bearing hubs at a great price. I can't vouch for the quality of the product, but others here on NAXJA have bought from him:

Good luck!!
