DIY beadlock rings Qs

For the do it yourself beadlock kits, each outer wheel's lip must be machined off and shaved down in order for them to work??? ON ALL wheels?
Or just some wheels? Besides that, how difficult are they to install?
I have a welder and know how to weld?

it's me again.....
I just saw the Ruff Stuff Specialities DIY beadlocks rings,
they mention their's are "inside the lip".
I take it these DO NOT need the outer lip machined flat??

Anyone install these?? I want them.
I can weld, but am not a professional welder...
I don't see why I couldn't pull it off. (I don't want leaky tires).

Seems like a really good price for $175.00
I know they are a sponsor of the site,
does this price include rings for ALL 4 steel wheels?
And I'd have to buy hardware?

i got the ones that go inside as well, no machining needed, just drop em in and burn away. I was a novice(still am)when i tackled it and still didnt have any leaks from the weld.

only leaks have been from the tire not seated right and that was only one wheel. The rest hold air surprisingly well even over a few months, just need to reseat the other one. These dont have centering rings for the tire, if they make diy ones with em i'd definetly get em. Put em on some 15x6 white wagon wheels(115$ to my door for all 4) I got em from the cheapest vendor on pirate, dont remember who.
