ignition switch location on 89

im putting a plow on my buddy's 89 cherokee, last wire for the pump has to go to the ignition switch in the fuse panel on the passenger side of the engine compartment, im looking at the relays and there's a bunch of wires jumbled up all over the place (previous owner was an idiot) Mine is a 93 and i have no idea where it would be on an 89 and I dont have a haynes manual with me and i need to know the location of the ignition switch.

Should be down by the firewall, on top of the steering column, just to the right (vehicle's) side of top dead centre. The switch to the left is, as I recall, the dimmer.

Honestly, it should be the same as your 1993. Interior stayed fairly static until 1996/7MY break, when (in this case) they switched from the GM column to the ChryCo.
