NSS....

Now that I know it is the NSS that is causing the issue with my jeep not starting.... I have it jumped out to be sure that it is the NSS. And amazingly enough the Jeep started.

I put the jumper inside the connector that is located at the back of the engine bay next to the tranny dip stick.

If I drive with this jumper in will I freak out the transmision controler and cause damage to the tranny ?

The jumper is crossing the wires that the NSS usually crosses anyways.

Here, fix it.

Yea... I used that one in another post to diagnost the issue.

The jumper is setting the switch for always in park/neutral.

When I go to gear I will then have park/neutral and gear. I can see this causing some issue with the controler.

Since it is cold here and there is no heat in my garage I asking if this will cause an issue if it goes until spring when I have a nice mild 60 degree garage to work in instead of 20.
