well i thought i had a 96 replacement engine in which i was told to change head to fit my 91 turns out it is a 97 is there anything else to swapping 97 to 91 besides head?

96 and 97 are the same engine. The split was at 95-96

well i did my motor swap today...a 97 into a 91... the only thing i had to chance was intake and the mounting brackets...the temperature sender unit hole was there just capped off...just put in old sender...was a lot off my shoulders took about 5 hours for the whole job pulling and putting back in. thanks for all the help from here guys
