Lifts and Alignment

I'm looking to lift my MJ anywhere from 1.75" to 2.5" in the front and I'm curious as to whether or not I'm going to have to have it aligned and/or need any other parts to eliminate any complications. Any thoughts?

If the rig drives straight now with no abnormal tire wear you shouldn't need to touch the tie rods, however, the track bar will cause the wheel to be off center if you are reusing the stock piece. You can redrill the bracket or obviously buy an adjustable track bar.

What kind of problems can come from that if nothing is done? Feathering maybe? Everything seems to be just fine right now. Normal tire wear and all.

You will end up with the steering wheel off and more toe in than before and a little less caster. Just do the adjustments yourself like I show on my site. www.go.jeep-xj.info
